Position Impact:

As a Supplier Quality Engineer at Gogoro, your role will have a significant impact on ensuring and monitoring the quality of resources provided by suppliers. By raising the overall performance and safety standards, you will contribute to maintaining the high-quality standards our consumers have come to expect. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in continuously seeking new ways to improve our processes, identifying areas that may have been overlooked and discovering new opportunities for quality enhancement.

Responsibility and Expectations:

1. Collaborate with the procurement and design teams to develop and evaluate new suppliers, ensuring clear expectations are established from the beginning.

2. Actively participate in setting up gateway reviews for supplier parts development, including the thorough review of delivered parts and components.

3. Take responsibility for securing the quality of supplier raw materials and generate accurate reports on their quality.

4. Regularly engage in meetings and communication with internal teams and suppliers to provide project status updates, identify potential risks, and effectively manage emerging issues.

5. Ensure all project stakeholders are informed and have up-to-date knowledge regarding project status, assignments, and related information.

6. Maintain a comprehensive supplier database, incorporating performance evaluations and quality control audits, allowing easy access for company and manufacturing management personnel.

Qualifications:

1. Background in mechanical parts production and processing management or a related field.

2. Proven track record in effectively securing vendor contracts, negotiating terms, and ensuring adherence to agreements.

3. Proficient in advanced manufacturing processes and skilled in optimizing supply chain operations.

4. Strong proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal, would be advantageous.
