About the Role:

You will lead partnership creation (from strategy to deal execution) for Remitly's new products, reporting to the VP of Global Strategic Partnerships for new products.

You Will:

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to understand customer needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape for targeted deal opportunities.

  • Collaborate with the new product team to create a partnership strategy that addresses meaningful customer problems.

  • Source and prioritise potential partnerships with sponsor banks, issuer processors, payment networks, and other FinTech companies.

  • Lead negotiations and implementations of strategic partnerships, ensuring they align with broader company objectives.

  • Manage projects with strategic parters to develop solutions from brainstorming to launch.

  • Serve as a liaison between the product team and external partners, ensuring alignment through the product development cycle.

  • Work with the corporate development team to identify and assess potential M&A targets that can augment or accelerate the new products strategy.

You Have:

  • 10 years of experience in product partnerships within the FinTech sector.

  • Experience with different payment systems, including card-based and local payment schemes.

  • Extensive network of contacts in the EU payments industry (APAC a plus)

  • Experience engaging with senior executives at partner organisations, including CEO and C-suite staff.

  • Comfortable presenting in front of executive leadership.

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or BS degree is a plus.
