About the Role:

Team Remitly is a digital international money transfer company united through our mission - to tirelessly deliver on our promise to immigrants sending money across the world. We do this by providing immigrants and their families the most trusted financial service products on the planet.

You Will:

  • Run Remitly's counterparty credit risk analysis process by periodically analyzing partners' financial risks and maintaining ratings up to date
  • Partner with the growth initiatives team on preparing materials for the quarterly steering committee meetings
  • Support treasury growth initiatives by partnering with business development on expansion into new geographies, including assessing counterparty risk profile
  • Assist with letter of credit issuance, renewal and tracking process, working directly with issuing bank
  • Support ownership of Remitly's insurance policies, serving as the primary point of contact for Remitly's broker
  • Own annual insurance renewals process by collecting exposure data and analyzing insurance needs to provide coverage at optimal costs
  • Support the day-to-day administration of the insurance program including maintaining existing policies and responding to insurance related inquiries
  • Collaborate with finance, compliance and legal team on treasury and risk workstreams and manage process and information flow across multiple functions
  • Partner with treasury leadership and CFO to prepare committee and board material
  • Assist with KYC and regulatory compliance requests from partner banks
  • Perform needed ad hoc analysis as requested by treasury leadership

You Have:

  • 1-2 years experience across insurance, finance, and/or treasury
  • Familiar with insurance, credit risk, and/or prior experience working with brokers
  • Self-starter, highly ethical, reliable, highly communicative, strong planning and organization skills
  • A team approach: this role will require collaboration across the organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Professional certification is a plus (CTP, CPA)

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $76,000-$95,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
