Your mission
As our Corporate Legal Counsel, you will be a part of a Global Legal and Public Affairs Team, supporting 17 countries and counting. Reporting to the General Counsel you will help raise the bar on support to a hyper-growth company on a great mission and supporting our corporate governance. The Global Legal and Public Affairs Team has members in several European countries and in the US.
You will play a vital role in supporting key internal stakeholders throughout our organisation and as a part of the Global Legal and Public Affairs Team, you will be directly involved in dialogue and negotiations with suppliers, vendors, outside counsels and not least stakeholders from our own departments. You should be excited about working in a fast-growing social-impact company and have experience managing a legal role in an internal stakeholder environment. In addition, you will be part of an expanding and supportive Global Legal and Public Affairs Team.
Your role
- Focusing primarily on corporate matters and company law
- Taking the lead in providing legal support to the organisation with corporate governance and corporate law matters across all our footprint countries
- Being the Global Legal and Public Affairs Team’s go-to person for compliance and legal support with corporate law
- Being the Global Legal and Public Affairs Team’s liaison to the Finance department in our daily operations
- Maintaining and supporting our equity program, including drafting relevant agreements and minutes to be submitted to CVR
- Playing a key role in building and maintaining a fruitful and cooperative relationship with other departments and stakeholders.
- Creating legal and compliance processes designed for scalability
- Supporting M&A processes
- Providing day-to-day legal advice to Too Good To Go
- Sparring with our General Counsel
- Based in Copenhagen
Requirements
- Legal background
- Experience in start-up or scale-up and hyper-growth companies is a plus
- Skilled in and experience with Danish company law
- Experience with M&A
- Equity Capital Markets (ECM) experience is a plus
- Structured and sense for details
- Full professional proficiency in Danish and English
- Ability to work and thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- A proactive, positive, and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently
- You know how to prioritize and have a service-minded and curious personality
- Good stakeholder management
