We’re looking for an exceptional Sales Team Lead to join the Sales team at Too Good To Go in Australia

YOUR MISSION

Embark on a groundbreaking journey as the Sales Team Lead for Too Good To Go’s inaugural launch in Australia. As the pioneer of our expansion into this vibrant market, your mission is to lead, inspire, and build a dynamic sales team that will shape the success story of Too Good To Go in our first steps into the APAC region.

This is a great challenge for a hungry and driven Sales professional willing to recruit, structure, lead and nurture an enthusiastic sales team in fast-paced environment without losing sight of our mission

Your goal will be to maximise sales performance by providing leadership to the independent sales team and developing structures, methods and strategies to support the team as it grows. Your team will focus on converting small & medium sized business owners to sign up with Too Good To Go. You will do so by smartly deploying a combination of automated and manual sales efforts through Inbound, Outbound and Inside sales methodologies.

YOUR ROLE

  • Strategy and market mapping: Analyse the Australian market to identify geographic and segment opportunities for growth and build the plan for optimum results.
  • You will target small & medium business owners mainly in segments like bakery, grocery, restaurant, coffee bars & more.
  • Define the operational setup for the sales team required in the context of Australia for both Inbound & Outbound sales approach.
  • Recruit, develop, adjust and build the team: Using your leadership experience you will ensure the team fulfill their potential and constantly train, coach, mentor and support the team for peak performance.
  • Inspire & Empower: Champion a high-performance sales culture within the team to support our mission and business objectives.
  • Structure and Optimise: Identify areas of improvement using key performance indicators compared to high performing markets and develop adjusted team structures and local processes to deliver on the growth ambitions
  • Leadership and Management: you set the vision, the ambition and make sure your experts have everything they need to run their own area of ownership. You lead with trust and share our values.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You have a solid experience in People Management.
  • You are comfortable with numbers and have experience with monitoring and tracking various sales KPIs - you actively use this competence to steer and guide the team
  • You thrive given freedom and accountability for results, enjoy setting ambitious goals for your team and over-perform.
  • You have developed a sales function in a fast-growing business, continuously searching for better ways of working based on the various sales methodologies
  • You believe in preparation and anticipation and have set the bar higher for your previous teams
  • You are highly organised and can build structures and processes that meet business needs
  • You have high commercial acumen with proven problem-solving and influencing skills and are able to draw on those skills to set the bar high and get team members to perform at their absolute best constantly.
  • You are a make-it-happen person and excited to roll up your sleeves.
  • Mastering both Salesforce and Excel are a must have.
  • Experience working in a food marketplace business is a plus
